Plan now gives you greater control over NOVA's printing order. This flexibility allows you to fine-tune your print stack for optimal results.
You can adjust the printing order of your layers by clicking and dragging them in the features panel. The layer at the top of the list will be printed first (as the bottom-most layer), while the last layer in the list will be printed last (as the top-most layer).
You can also control the order in which features within a layer are printed. To do this, expand the layer you're working in within the features panel and click and drag the polygons to reorder them. The polygon at the top of the list will be printed first, while the last polygon on the list will be printed last.
If you reorder your layers it's important to regenerate probe targets for all the layers as the different order will affect the probe targets where the layers overlap.
You can also control the order in which toolpaths within a polygon are printed. To do this, select the polygon in the features panel and open the toolpaths tree in the properties panel. Then, click and drag the toolpaths to reorder them. The toolpath at the top of the list will be printed first, while the last toolpath in the list will be printed last.
Finally, you can change the color of each layer by opening the color tab in the properties panel. This feature helps differentiate artwork layers, making it easier to manage and identify each layer in your design.
