For your first print we will be using a silver conductive ink printed onto a sheet of PET. Both of these materials were supplied with your NOVA unit in the accessories box and substrate folder. For the substrate, you'll be using PET from Normandy Coating. It is a heat-stabilized PET (polyethylene terephthalate), and is also known as Mylar and polyester. PET is the most common flexible substrate in FHE because it's used everywhere from water bottles to balloons to packaging, so it's readily accessible and extremely cost effective. We've already added the Normandy Coating PET to your library by default, so it's ready to go for you. For the silver conductive ink, you'll have one of two materials that came with your NOVA machine. The label on the ink cartridge will have the name of the material listed on it.

If you have the FE3124 or FS0142 from ACI Materials, this will also be preloaded in your library for use. If your NOVA came with RD0142A, then you can follow these steps to add it to your library for use.

To navigate to the materials library from the home screen of the software, you'll select the materials tile.

In the materials workflow you'll see two option. The first is your Library, this is where all your material settings are stored for use in your prints. The second is the Explore option, this is where we store materials that we have already calibrated in house. These materials can easily be added to your library so you don't need to calibrate them.

You'll be selecting the Explore option next.

Now that you're in the explore library, you can filter the options on the left hand side to only show Pastes. You can now select the RD0142A tile.

To add RD0142A to your library, click the Add to library option.

You're all set to move onto Dispenser Assembly.
