1. Material Calibration

Whenever we use a new material with NOVA we need to calibrate it. Material calibration allows us to determine the optimal printing settings for any new material/nozzle combination.

First, select the CALIBRATE tile from the main menu:

Next, select the Black Ink that we added to our materials library. Since we will be calibrating our Black Ink on the FR4 template board we will also add FR4 as the substrate under the advanced menu.

We will then be prompted to select how many calibration patterns we would like to print for this calibration. In this case we will use a 3x3 grid.
