Z-min Switch Replacement

Before you begin
This guide will show you how to access and replace the Z-min switch on the V-One. Before beginning this guide you should have been in contact with our support team.

Tools you will need:
2.5mm Hex Key (Allen Key)
Parts you have received from Voltera:
Z-min limit switch PCB
Replace the Z-min switch PCB
Test the new switch
Plug your V-One back into power and connect the USB to your computer. Power on the V-One and open the software. Once the software has loaded, open the console using the ~ key or by pressing alt + c and enter the command M601 S1
. This will let the V-One know it has a new switch.

Reboot the V-One for the switch change to take effect. You can leave the console and software open while rebooting. Once the printer is connected again, manually test the Z-min switch by pressing it with your finger or a pen.

In the console you should see the z-min switch show as TRIGGERED when pressed and open when released.
