Reset the Thermal Fuse


Before you begin

This guide will show you how to access and reset the thermal fuse for the heated bed on the V-One. Before beginning this guide you should have been in contact with our support team.

Tools you will need:

  • 2.5mm Hex Key (Allen Key)

Reset the Thermal Fuse

Flip the V-One

Unplug the V-One from power and carefully flip it upside down ensuring the carriage and bridge are well supported while flipping so they don’t slide around.

Remove the Base Cover

Undo the 4 hex screws from the base using a 2.5 mm hex key and remove the base cover.

Locate the Thermal Fuse

The thermal fuse can be found at the center of the heated bed with power wires running through it.

Reset the Thermal Fuse

Press firmly on the stem of the thermal fuse, this will reset it. You should hear an audible click when it resets.

Close Up the V-One

Put the base cover back on with all 4 screws. Be carful to support the bridge and carriage while turning the V-One back right-side up.

Try a Heat Workflow

With the fuse reset try going through a Heat workflow on your machine. This could be a bake cycle or a reflow cycle. They key is that the printer as able to get through the workflow again without tripping the thermal fuse. If the fuse does trip again it may need to be replaced.
