Inspect the Status Lights on the V-One Control Board


Before you begin

This guide will show you how to access the status lights on the V-One control Board for inspection. Before beginning this guide you should have been in contact with our support team.

Tools you will need:

  • 2.5mm Hex Key (Allen Key)

Accessing the Status Lights

Flip the V-One

Unplug the V-One from power and carefully flip it upside down ensuring the carriage and bridge are well supported while flipping so they don’t slide around.

Remove the Base Cover

Undo the 4 hex screws from the base using a 2.5 mm hex key and remove the base cover.

Power on the V-One

Keeping your hands clear of any of the internal components, carefully plug the V-One back into power and the computer and turn it on.

Inspect Status Lights

After powering on (about 30 seconds), inspect the control board to see what power lights are glowing. You should see both 12V and 5V lights.

Both the 12V and 5V lights should be illuminated. If either of them is not visible let Voltera Support know.

Close up the V-One

Power off the printer, unplug it and put the base cover back on with all 4 screws. Be carful to support the bridge and carriage while turning the V-One back right-side up.
