Y-Motor Cable Replacement

Before you begin
This guide will take you through replacing the Y-motor cable in NOVA. Before beginning this guide you should have been in contact with our support team and received replacement parts.

Estimated Repair Time:
20 minutes
Tools you will need:
T20 Torx bit + screwdriver
Flush cutters / scissors
2 small zip ties
Parts you have received from Voltera:
Y-motor cable
Replace the Y-Motor Cable
Remove the Y-Motor cable
Carefully snip the zip ties holding the cable in place with a pair of flush cutters.
Disconnect the cable from the control board and motor.
The control board connector has a tab that must be pushed in to remove the cable
The motor end can be carefully wiggled out by pulling down on both ends of the connector (it has no locking tab or latch):
