Adjusting the Mounting Posts

1

Remove tools

Remove any tools from the carriage if they are currently attached. This will make it easier to access the mounting posts for adjustment.

2

Lower the carriage

In the V-One software, open up the console by pressing the ~ key or alt + c and run the command: G1 Z-22

This will lower the carriage all the way to the bottom.

3

Remove the black top cap

This part is pressure fit onto the top of the carriage and can be removed by pushing up on the front first, then the back, and pulling it out on an angle. This will give you easy access to the z-max switch.

4

Loosen Top Front Screws

Once the black top has been removed, using a 2 mm hex key slightly loosening the two front most screws on the top of the carriage.

5

Loosen Bottom Screws

Use command G1 Z0 to move the carriage back up to the top position. Once the carriage is back in the top position you should have easy access to the two screws at the bottom of the shafts to loosen them slightly as well.

6

Mount the Dispenser

Mount a dispenser to the posts. This will hold the shafts in place so they can be tightened.

7

Tighten All 4 Screws

Tightened all 4 screws hand tight. Then test fit any other accessories you have to be sure they all fit properly. If everything is fitting as it should drop the carriage once again using G1 Z-22 and replace the plastic top cap.

Make sure when replacing the black top cap that it is slid as far forward as possible, if it’s pushed back to far it’s possible for the dispensing gear to rub against it.
