1. Setting up your V-One
1.1 Install the software
Drivers: Before you install the V-One software it is important to install the printer drivers. Most connection issues experienced are because the wrong drivers are being used.
Windows 7 and up (64-bit only): Visit https://docs.voltera.io/docs/v-one/downloads/download-the-v-one-software to download the drivers. Remember to install the drivers with administrator privileges.
Mac OSX 10.11 and up: Apple’s native drivers work with V-One out of the box. There is no need to install a separate driver.
Application: Visit https://docs.voltera.io/docs/v-one/downloads/download-the-v-one-software to download the desktop application.
1.2 Unbox and choose a location for your V-One
Place V-One on a flat, level, and non-flammable surface. Be sure to position V-One so that the power inlet is easily accessible.
A well-ventilated area is recommended.
Remove all items from the box. Place the ink and solder paste in the fridge for storage.
Make sure you keep all packaging in case the product needs to be transported in the future.
Check the voltage rating on the back of the unit to make sure it matches the power provided in the country of use.
Connect the provided power cable to the C14 receptacle at the back of V-One, then to an earthed socket outlet.
Connect the provided USB cable to V-One, then to your computer.
