# Gantry LED Strip Replacement

## Before you begin

This guide will take you through replacing the control board in NOVA. Before beginning this guide you should have been in contact with our support team and received replacement parts.

  * T20 Torx (Magnetized)&#x20;

#### Parts you have received from Voltera:

* LED Strip PCB

## Replace the LED Strip

### Disconnect NOVA from power

Ensure that NOVA is turned off with the power button and then unplug the power cable.

### Remove the backplate

With a T20 Torx bit remove the 6 screws (2 on the back side, 4 on the bottom of the panel) securing the back panel. Once the screws are out you can pull the back panel out by tilting it up slightly and then pulling away from the machine.

### Remove the LED Strip

Disconnect the cable connected to the LED strip.&#x20;

With a T20 Torx bit remove the single screw securing the LED Strip bracket to NOVA.&#x20;

Either magnetize your bit to ensure that the screw does not fall into NOVAs body or slowly slide the LED strip out with the screw as you loosen it.

Slide the LED Strip PCB out of NOVA.&#x20;

### Install the new LED Strip PCB

Slide the new LED Strip PCB into NOVA by aligning it with the internal channel.&#x20;

With a T20 Torx bit insert the single screw and secure the LED Strip bracket to NOVA and plug in the cable.

### Reattach the backplate <a href="#reattach-the-backplate" id="reattach-the-backplate"></a>

Put the back plate back into place and with a T20 Torx bit secure the 6 screws (2 on the back side, 4 on the bottom of the panel).

### Turn NOVA back on! <a href="#turn-nova-back-on" id="turn-nova-back-on"></a>

You can now plug NOVA back in and turn it on using the power button to test if the LED strip is functioning.&#x20;

Congratulations, you have successfully replaced one of NOVAs LED Strips!
